Data Scientist (Machine Learning Engineer)

Job Description:

They are looking for a data scientist that will help them discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data and help them make smarter decisions and improve existing pipelines to deliver even better products. Your primary focus will be on applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, building high-quality prediction systems integrated with their products using machine learning techniques.

Responsibilities:

Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers, object detection models, etc. using machine learning;
Data mining and data analysis using state-of-the-art methods;
Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building machine learning models;
Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for training;
Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner;
Creating and updating machine learning models to tackle daily company challenges;
Implementing newest machine learning techniques.

Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, deep learning frameworks, available models, loss functions and their usages;
Willingness to learn new things and to do research;
Proven experience with Python, and the Python data/ML ecosystems (NumPy, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, scikit-learn, OpenCV, pip or/and Anaconda);
Knowledge of Linux operating systems;
Knowledge of deploying machine learning methods to Docker containers;
SQL database skills;
Great communication skills;
Experience with data visualisation tools and images augmentation libraries;
Good applied mathematical skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, evaluation metrics calculation etc.;
Knowledge of C# language would be beneficial;
Data-oriented personality, unafraid of tackling daily challenges and solving them.

Monthly Salary: from 3000 Eur gross.
