General Manager

Key Responsibilities

  1. Operational Management:
      • Oversee daily business operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
      • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.

      2. Strategic Planning:

      • Assist in the development of strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve company objectives.
      • Implement and monitor short-term and long-term strategic goals.
      • Coordinate and oversee OKRs planning and implementation.
      • Conduct Annual, Quarterly and Monthly planning sessions.

      3. Financial Oversight:

      • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to ensure profitability.
      • Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
      • Liaise with Finance and accounting team for operational alignment

      4. Performance Monitoring:

      • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure that targets are met or exceeded.
      • Identify areas for improvement and implement processes to enhance operational efficiency.

      5. Process Improvement:

      • Oversee the development and implementation of efficient processes and procedures.
      • Promote the adoption of new technologies and innovative practices.

      6. Team Leadership:

      • Lead and develop the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
      • Provide leadership and direction to the operations team.

      7. Customer Satisfaction:

      • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.

      8. Resource Management:

      • Allocate resources effectively, including managing inventory, facilities, and staffing.
      • Ensure optimal allocation and utilization of resources, including human, financial, and physical assets.

      9. Compliance and Risk Management:

      • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
      • Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.

      10. Market Analysis:

      • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.

      11. Project Management:

      • Oversee major projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines and budget constraints.

      12. Communication:

      • Serve as a key point of contact between departments and ensure clear communication across the organization.
      • Act as a liaison between the operational team and other departments, as well as external stakeholders such as suppliers and partners.

      Requirements

      • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
      • Experience:
        • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a managerial role, with at least 5 years in a senior management position such as Operations Manager, Senior Manager, or Director of Operations.
        • Proven experience in strategic planning, process improvement, and operational management.
        • Experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring.
      • Skills:
        • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
        • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
        • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
        • Strong organizational and project management skills.
        • Proficiency in using business software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite).

      Minimum Experience:

      • 10+ years in a managerial role, with significant experience in senior management positions.
      • Proven track record of successfully managing operations and driving business growth.
      • Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans and improving operational processes.

      Working Conditions:

      • Full-time position with occasional travel as needed.
      • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

      Salary:

      $80,000 – $120,000 salary commensurate with experience, plus bonus, benefits, stock options and performance-based incentives.
